Disappointed about the range and download speeds from the stock ASIAIR antenna? Yeah, we are too. Which is why we developed a custom antenna for use with the ASIAIR that provides both increased range and download speeds for both the 2.4 and 5.8GHz bands. As a professional astrophotography, I have extensively tested these high gain antennas in many different environments and rigs, and have been extremely satisfied with the results! At a minimum, you have a back-up antenna, as we all know how easy it is to lose the small stock antennas. Forget your antenna, and your night of astrophotography is effectively over before it even started.
These high gain WIFI antennas provide increased performance over the stock antennas included with the ASIAIR mini or ASIAIR Plus controllers. They are also convenient to use as a back-up antenna, especially useful when traveling as these antennas are small and easy to lose. From our testing, this antenna provides both increased range and download speeds over the ASIAIR stock WIFI antenna.
