Resistor 25 ohm, 100W
This resistor is used in series with the DC bus capacitors in the Reference Design 2.0 and Reference Design 3.0 DRSSTC systems to limit inrush current when power is first applied to the system. This resistor is connected in series with the DC bus capacitors initially, and after a time delay, a relay contactor switches the resistor out. These are required to prevent excessive current from tripping your mains circuit breakers when first powering up your high power DRSSTC Tesla coil.
