High Voltage Multiplier 1.0 (Cockroft-Walton)
One of our more popular high voltage kits, this 17-stage Cockroft-Walton (CW) multiplier circuit can produce up to 5.7kV (no load) using 120VAC 50/60Hz input.
Features:
- 17-Stage Cockroft-Walton multiplier circuit
- 0.1uF stage capacitance
- Maximum output voltage (no load) - 5.7kV @ 120VAC 50/60Hz input
- Please note that as with all CW multipliers, output voltage will depend on actual load current
- Designed for use with our Marx Generator 1.0 kits (This will not work with the Marx 2.0 kit)
- Suitable for hundreds of high voltage applications when a low current, high voltage source is required
- Input voltage: 120VAC 50/60Hz maximum (not designed for 220/240VAC operation)
