This is very heavy duty heatsink extrusion and this length is perfect for mounting a half-bridge of SOT-227 IGBTs. The flat of the heatsink is 0.375" thick providing a lot of material to tap holes for mounting. We use this extrusion in our microBrute DRSSTC Tesla Coil.
