1000:1:1 Current Transformer Kit

This popular current transformer kit is designed for use in the largest DRSSTC Tesla Coils.  The extra larger primary core is necessary to support the large diameter of heavy gauge primary wire used in high power DRSSTCs.  Two secondary cores provide two outputs - one for current feedback and a second one for overcurrent monitoring.  This cascaded current transformer can handle peak currents exceeding 2000A and an effective turns ratio of 1024:1:1.  Use these for high power DRSSTC Tesla Coils.

• Recommended winding:  32 turns per core - cascaded configuration
